Bynum's Steakhouse

Food great. Very disappointed in fact that our server did not acknowledge that it was my moms birthday. And I even told them about mine being day before which we were out celebrating. I have never been to place doesn't give you a desert for a birthday. So we decided after go get are on desert. But we had party of 5. So the other 3 were going to buy a desert. Which would made her tip bigger since we spent more. Ig that's what happens when you don't acknowledge a birthday. Great steak. I have just been to alot of great steak houses for my birthday. And I have never had them not give me a desert. Not all classy places sing. I understand that but no desert. It really would made way bigger tip. 🤦‍♂️

I don't even know where to begin. This place was awful. There's not enough parking for starters. The atmosphere was so weird. It is so quiet in there. There is no music or anything playing. There's a lot of people in a small room sitting close together facing each other. I have never felt so clusterphobic and awkward in a restaurant. The service sucked the food was awful. It looked awful and was way overpriced. I had no idea it was that expensive. I didn't even touch mine. It looked so nasty. My husband ate his and ended up sick all night. Took forever to get service. Then we couldn't get our waiter's attention and waited forever just to get to-go boxes and a ticket. They only have a few items on their menu. You don't get to pick your sides. If I had seen the menu before I ordered our drinks,we would have gotten up and left. We've had bad restaurant experiences before. But at least I could find something nice to say about the place. Not this place, I have not one good thing to say about this place.

The bread was stale and I could get better at the Grocery store. The French Onion soup tasted like it was out of a can. The cheese in the soup wasn't melted and clumpy in the bottom of the cup. The salad was shredded like it was cole slaw. Pretty sure it came out of a bag. The server was slow and didn't come back to the table to check on us. I had to flag her down to get anything from her. The steak was the only thing going for the place. It was I was extremely disappointed. I won't likely be returning.

This is a hidden gem. When we pulled up, we honestly considered turning around and leaving simply because of location. It is surrounded by apartments, which was just weird, honestly. Beyond that, we decided to stay course and go in. Service was absolutely stellar. The restraunt must get several local regulars because the waitress instantly knew we were from out of town. She was kind of helpful and matter of fact. The menu is basic and where the no fuss comes in. If you like to go out to eat but don't do well with too many choices you'll like this place. Don't like the soup of the day? You get a second potatoe. Don't like potatoes. You get double soup. We loved the simplicity of it all. No fryers, so appetizers were limited, but you are given so much food that really you don't necessarily need one. Family suggested we stop here on our trip, and we are happy we did.

Been here several times. This time it wasn't very good. Waited 20 minutes for a cup of coffee. Mug was hot. Coffees not hot. It was instant coffee. Waitress was pleasant. But forgot a bowl of soup when bringing the other three bowls. Steak sauce was requested but didn't show up. We will go back. But probably going to be a little while.
